Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to information you send us through this website — when you request a quotation, apply to become a distributor, or get in touch — and, just as importantly, what this website does and does not do automatically while you are simply browsing it.
In short
By default, this website loads no analytics or advertising scripts and makes no third-party network requests while you browse it. Nothing runs until you choose to send us something.
This site does not currently show a bot-check (captcha) challenge. A server-side verifier exists but is switched off unless the site operator turns it on.
Your IP address is never stored or logged in a readable form — only a salted, one-way hash of it is used, briefly, to prevent spam.
We have not yet finalised how long submitted data is retained. See “How long we keep it” below.
Who this notice covers
Techball Industries is a sole proprietorship of Narendra Gordhanbhai Akbari. Techball Industries operates this website. For anything in this notice, including a request to access or delete your data, email techballind@gmail.com.
Analytics and third-party scripts
This website does not load Google Analytics, or any other analytics or advertising script, unless the site operator has explicitly configured it — that configuration is not set today. As a result, the default version of this site makes no third-party network requests and sets no advertising or tracking cookies when you browse it.
If analytics is switched on in the future, note that enabling it for visitors in the EU or UK without a cookie-consent mechanism is likely to raise a GDPR/PECR problem. No consent banner exists on this site today, so that question would need to be addressed before analytics could responsibly be turned on. It is not addressed here because it does not currently apply.
WhatsApp links
Several pages, including a button shown on every page, link to WhatsApp so you can message us directly. Clicking one of these links takes you to WhatsApp, a service operated by Meta, under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. The link itself is a plain outbound address, not an embedded script — we process nothing and no data is shared with Meta by the click alone; that only happens once you choose to send us a message from within WhatsApp.
What we collect when you submit a form
Three forms on this site collect information directly from you. Each is described below at the level of what it asks for; the form itself lists every field.
Request a quotation
Your company name and contact name; a business email address and, optionally, a phone number; your country and, optionally, your city; an optional company website; the kind of buyer you are; the products, sizes and quantities you are interested in; optional shipping details such as destination port, Incoterm, branding preference and the date you need the goods by; your message; and your confirmation that we may contact you about the enquiry.
Become a distributor
Everything listed above under “Request a quotation”, plus company registration details (legal status, registration or tax number, year established, employee count), your job title and a WhatsApp number if you give one, the markets and product categories you already work in, your import experience, your warehousing and logistics capacity, and — optionally — a company profile document you choose to upload.
Contact
Your name, email address, optional country and company name, the subject of your enquiry, and your message.
Every form also carries two fields you never see: a hidden timestamp of when the form was loaded, and a hidden field that must stay empty. Neither is personal information — both exist only to help tell a human submission from an automated one.
The company profile document (distributor form)
The only field on this site that accepts a file upload is the optional company profile document on the distributor application. Accepted file types are PDF, Word documents, and common image formats, up to 8 MB, and each file is checked against its actual content before being accepted — a file that does not match its declared type, or any other file type, is rejected. Your original filename is never used on disk or in a file path; the file is renamed before use, and your original filename is kept only as short, sanitised text for display in the notification email.
What happens to a submission
Every form submission is processed in the same order:
Spam check. Based on the hidden fields described above. A submission that fails this check still receives a normal confirmation — so a genuine visitor is never shown an error because of it — but it is not sent anywhere.
Rate-limit check. Your connection is identified only by a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, combined with a value known only to the server. The raw address is never stored or logged, and cannot be recovered from the hash.
Cleaning and validation. Submitted values have stray control characters removed and are then checked against the rules shown on the form.
Bot verification. The server-side half of Cloudflare Turnstile exists in this codebase, but the visible Turnstile challenge is not loaded on this site in this version — you will not be asked to complete a puzzle. This check is switched off by default.
Upload handling. If you attached a file, it is validated as described above.
Email delivery. See below.
Where your enquiry actually goes
This site uses a third-party service, Resend, to deliver enquiry emails to Techball Industries — but only once the site operator has configured it with real credentials.
Configured: your submission is emailed to Techball Industries, with the reply-to address set to the email you gave us, so a reply reaches you directly.
Not configured, in development or testing: nothing is sent over the network. The submission is validated normally, and a redacted preview of what would have been sent is written to a local file for the developer. No email leaves, and no success message pretends otherwise.
Not configured, in production: your submission is declined with an honest error message rather than a silent, false success.
What we log
For every submission we keep one operational log line: which form it was, a reference code, whether it was sent, the salted connection hash described above, how long processing took, and — for the distributor form — the file type and size of an attachment. We do not log your name, email address, phone number, company name or the contents of your message; only the number of characters your message contained is recorded.
Why we process this information
We process what you submit in order to respond to your enquiry or application. The basis for this is your consent: every form requires you to confirm you are happy for us to contact you about it before it can be submitted.
How long we keep it
Retention period not yet decided
We have not finalised how long enquiry and application data — including any uploaded file — is retained. That decision has not yet been made by the business owner, and this notice will be updated once it is. If you would like us to delete information you have sent us before then, email techballind@gmail.com and we will act on the request.
Your rights
Depending on where you are contacting us from, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To exercise any of these, email techballind@gmail.com.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website and its forms change. The version published on this page is the current one.
